In an emergency
**If you think you are having a medical emergency, do not use this app — contact your local emergency number immediately (for example 112 in the EU, 911** in the US) or go to the nearest emergency department. Sudden, severe, or unusual headache — especially the "worst headache of your life", or a headache with confusion, weakness, vision loss, fainting, stiff neck, fever, seizure, or after a head injury — can be a sign of a serious condition and needs urgent medical care.
What Migrelle is
Migrelle is a wellness and self-tracking tool. It helps you record your migraines and headaches, and it shows you informational insights — statistics, patterns, and possible correlations calculated from the data you enter, on your own device.
What Migrelle is not
- Migrelle is not a medical device. - Migrelle does not diagnose any condition, does not predict attacks, and does not recommend or provide treatment. - Migrelle is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The insights Migrelle shows are patterns, not predictions, and not diagnoses. They describe what your own logged history looks like — they do not tell you what is wrong with you, what will happen, or what you should do medically.
About scores and questionnaires (MIDAS, HIT-6)
Migrelle may help you calculate well-known self-report questionnaires such as MIDAS and HIT-6. These are self-assessment scales that you complete, scored using each instrument's own published rubric. They are intended as information to share and discuss with a qualified clinician — not as a diagnosis or an assessment made by the app. Migrelle does not interpret them for you or tell you what they mean for your health.
Always talk to a professional
- Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with any questions about a medical condition, your symptoms, your medications, or your treatment. - Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you saw in Migrelle. - Do not start, stop, or change any medication or treatment based on the app. The relief or medication information you log is for your own tracking, not medical guidance — and tracking does not replace a clinician's advice about overuse or safety. - Any doctor report Migrelle generates is a summary of the data you entered, created to help your conversation with your clinician. Your clinician interprets it — the app does not.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for how you use the information in Migrelle. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any decision made, or action taken or not taken, in reliance on the app or its insights. See the [Terms of Service](./terms-of-service.md) for the full disclaimers and limitation of liability.
