Find patterns in your migraines — without jumping to conclusions

Migrelle helps you record possible triggers beside an attack and see which tags recur, when attacks tend to start and how pressure changed beforehand. Those patterns can form better questions; they cannot identify a cause by themselves.

Observation → association → hypothesis → conversation

Observe what you recorded. Describe the association without calling it a cause. Form a hypothesis that accounts for missing entries and other changes. Then discuss it with a clinician before changing treatment or routines. This sequence keeps a useful pattern in proportion to the data behind it.

What you can track alongside attacks

On an attack, you can tag dehydration, stress, lack of sleep, skipped meals, bright light, weather change, hormonal change or another factor, and record time, symptoms and medication. Migrelle analyses tag frequency, time of day, weekday and barometric pressure. Daily Pulse can separately record sleep under six hours, skipped meals, screens, stress, caffeine, alcohol, low fluids, exercise, weather change and period, but those Pulse factors are not currently correlated with attacks.

How the analysis works

The statistics are deterministic and calculated on the device without AI or a network request. Pattern views begin after three attacks; a weekday peak needs ten. The Premium trigger ranking simply orders tags by the share of recorded attacks containing each tag. It does not compare exposure on attack days with exposure on attack-free days.

Why correlation isn't causation

A tag can recur because it is common, because it was easier to remember after an attack, or because an early migraine symptom was mistaken for a trigger. Missing logs and several factors changing together add more uncertainty. Read the longer guide to correlation and causation in migraine diaries.
